Kate ones

Kate Jones has been in the wine industry public relations business for more than 25 years. Before forming her own public relations consulting business, Kate was the Public Relations Director for the Napa Valley Vintners Association (NVVA), working on behalf of more than 125 wineries in Napa Valley.

She was instrumental in helping make the Napa Valley Wine Auction one of the largest charity auctions in the country. Using her savvy public relations skills and extensive media contacts, Kate turned the Napa Valley Auction into a national media event with print, TV and radio reporters coming from across the United States.

Prior to working at the NVVA, she was the Vice President of Public Relations at Piper Sonoma Winery in Healdsburg.

Currently, Kate works on behalf of several wine industry clients, ranging from the Wine Institute of California; the Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley, a local winery association; Winesong!, the Mendocino County charity wine auction; and boutique wineries of the highest caliber, including Six Sigma Ranch and Vineyards. She provides research and copywriting services to a variety of companies and has a book to her credit, "Spectacular Wineries of Napa Valley."
